Yevheniia
Yevheniia was born in Pokrovsk in the eastern Donetsk region. Since the occupation of Ukraine began in 2014, Pokrovsk has remained relatively peaceful, however on February 24th, 2022, Yevheniia and her family’s lives were forever changed. Her father went to bravely defend Ukraine, but was killed in Kharkiv during an air raid by Russian troops just days after the outbreak of the war.
Last year, Yevheniia began the first grade. She dreams of a happy future for her country and for world peace.
