Maksym and Vladyslav
Maksym (age 2), Vladislav (9) and their family had to flee their home in the occupied Kherson region in the east following the beginning of the war. Their father, who joined the Armed Forces to defend Ukraine, was later killed during combat in Donetsk. The family was left without a loving father and husband and have no way of returning home.
Maksym and Vladislav miss their daddy terribly and consider him a true hero.

- Maksym and Vladyslav's family received priority financial assistance, fall and winter shoes from Intertop, a voucher from the Garna Mama store, a snowsuit, a heater and household goods from Biosphere
- Thanks to our partners at the 1K Project, the family also received one-time financial assistance $1,000
- Vladyslav attended the Edelweiss wellness camp. received the opportunity to study English with Lala English and continues to take online art classes with Kizumiya
- Both boys received phones, power banks, a laptop and stationery from the Fund as well as monetary gifts for their birthdays
