Kiril
Kiril was born in the eastern Kharkiv region just nine months ago – though he will never meet his father, whose life was taken from him by the war. Days after going missing on his way home from work at the nearby hospital, his body was found in a nearby village. Kiril’s innocent father was shot during a stop at one of the checkpoints that the invading Russian soldiers had set up. Forced to flee after the murder took place, the family’s home was destroyed, leaving nothing for them to return to as they dream of an end to the war.
Supported by the Fund, Kiril’s family has thus far received emergency financial assistance, a crib, a high chair, a stroller, diapers, a heater, new shoes, grocery vouchers, household products and vision care. Currently, they also require additional diapers, new clothing, baby food and a winter stroller.
