In three years, we've heard over 12,000 tragic stories. The war has torn children from the fairytale world of childhood, taken their parents, destroyed their homes, and left deep wounds. But we are here for them.
To support them, to restore their faith, to remind each child of a Hero: despite the loss, despite the pain – their story doesn't end here. It's only just beginning. We will do everything to ensure that the children of Heroes have a full life, filled with joy and love."

The war took their parents, destroyed their homes, and overshadowed their childhood with pain. But we will not let this darkness consume their future. Over the past three years, we have helped more than 12,000 children find the strength to live, dream, and achieve.
Throughout the last three years we:
Provided aid totaling 500,136,976 UAH ≈ 13 million USD
Sent 13 569 food packages.
Provided 3628 gadgets for learning.
Provided medical insurance for 1207 children.
Delivered 8 323 sets of stationery and advent calendars for the holidays.
Supplied 8 115 sets of hygiene products and baby food.
In 2020, Arina was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, which drastically changed her life. Despite the diagnosis, her parents never gave up and tried to give her a happy childhood. When the full-scale invasion began, Arina's father joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces to protect his most cherished ones — his family.
However, in November 2023, the irreparable event happened. Her father was killed while carrying out a combat mission near Avdiivka. Arina struggled terribly with the loss of her father, which led to fluctuations in her health. With the Fund's support, Arina received a special insulin pump that controls blood sugar levels and administers the necessary insulin dose. It will eliminate constant fluctuations in her blood sugar and allow Arina to live a full life.
On November 11, 2024, Varvara's family experienced true horror when a ballistic missile hit their home in Kryvyi Rih. They miraculously survived, as they managed to run into the corridor just minutes before the strike. However, when they emerged from the safe shelter, they saw that the missile fragments had destroyed nearly everything the family owned. They were left without a home, a car, a father, and without that small world, they had carefully built over many years.
When the Fund learned about the hardships the family had to face, they immediately responded. Within a week, the Fund transferred financial assistance, allowing the family to rent an apartment for the time being, purchase a writing desk and chair, a laptop for studying, a charging station, clothes, and other essential household items.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Yaroslav's father went to the frontline, despite his lack of military experience. This period was a real challenge for Yaroslav. On the one hand, there were sirens and anxiety about his father, and on the other hand, he was preparing for the External Independent Testing (ZNO). Despite everything, he successfully passed it and entered his dream university. When he tried to share the news with his father, he did not respond. The next day, Yaroslav received terrible news: his father was killed at the frontline.
At first, the boy felt guilty. But thanks to the psychologists of the Children of Heroes Charity Foundation, he managed to overcome his pain and restore his inner strength. Now Yaroslav is not only continuing his studies at the university, but is also fond of 3D graphics, which helps him express himself and distract from heavy thoughts.
In three years of work, the Fund has become a pillar for thousands of children like Varvara, Arina, and Yaroslav. They have gone through the worst, but with our support, they have been given a chance for education, psychological help, professional development, and simply — the opportunity feel like children again.
Losing loved ones, a destroyed home and uncertainty about the future are the realities that our beneficiaries face. But we will not leave them alone with their pain. The Fund supports each child until adulthood, helping them walk confidently toward their dreams even after such terrible loss.
