The “Children of Heroes” Charity Fund and Dereville Ecopark have created joint merchandise for Children’s Day

Throughout May, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund, in partnership with Dereville Ecopark, has been running a project aimed at giving warm memories and new experiences to children who have lost one or both parents due to the war.
As part of this partnership, three excursions have already taken place, involving 48 of the Fund’s beneficiaries and their guardians. The children got to play freely in the fresh air, enjoy sweets, feel care and support, and pet animals. Four more excursions are planned for June to ensure as many children as possible can get a much-needed boost of positive emotions during these challenging times.
“It was an absolutely wonderful day! Thanks to everyone involved who made it incredible – both the organizers and the families we got to meet. The beautiful nature, well-cared-for animals, and kind people passionate about their work gave us an explosion of emotions! My child came home happy,” commented the mother of one of the Fund’s beneficiaries.
During one of the excursions, a special event happened: art therapy. Children drew and expressed their emotions through creativity, and these very artworks formed the basis of a merchandise collection created in collaboration between Dereville and the “Children of Heroes” Charity Fund. This led to the creation of mugs, T-shirts, and tote bags filled with special meaning, as each drawing tells its own story. The collection launched on June 1st, International Children’s Day. A portion of the sales will go to support children who have lost their parents due to the war.
The Fund is grateful to Dereville Ecopark for their cooperation. Thanks to initiatives like these, even in the toughest times, children can feel joy, support, and a piece of carefree childhood.
