How to start a fundraiser

Press “I want to fundraise!” → “Start a fundraiser”

You’ll be directed to a short form where you can personalize your campaign.

Enter your fundraiser title

Keep it simple and clear – we suggest including your name or the occasion.
For example: Jack’s Birthday Fundraiser. You can also add a photo or skip this step.

Add a description

Briefly explain why you’re starting this fundraiser. Not sure what to write? You can keep the default message.

Choose a currency

Donors can give in any currency, no matter which one you select. You can also set a fundraising goal and end date – but your campaign can stay active as long as you like.

Enter your email address

We’ll send you a verification code – enter it when prompted. This email gives you access to your donor account, where you can track progress and manage your campaign.

Enter your first and last name

This name will appear publicly in the fundraiser list (visible to those who click “Join a fundraiser”) and to anyone who joins your campaign.

Press “Start fundraising”

We’ll email you the fundraiser details and a shareable link.

Share your fundraiser

Spread the word via social media, email, or messaging apps. Anyone with the link can donate. You can also invite others to join your team – just share the “Invite members” link from your donor account.

Join an existing fundraiser

You can also support someone else’s campaign in two ways:

Option 1: Join via the website

  • Press “I want to fundraise!” → “Join a fundraiser”.
  • Search by name or choose from the list.
  • Enter your email and the verification code we send.
  • Enter your name and press “Start fundraising”.

Join via direct invite

If someone shares their “Invite members” link with you:

  • Follow the link.
  • Enter your email and the verification code we send.
  • Enter your name and press “Start fundraising”.

You’ll receive a confirmation email with your personal fundraiser link. You can track the fundraiser’s progress and invite others through your donor account (just use your email to log in).

Where do donations go?

All funds raised through personal fundraisers support the Children of Heroes Fund’s long-term programs. These include psychological support, education, medical care, humanitarian aid, and more for children who have lost one or both parents due to war.
