“Boxes of Care” for 3,000 youngest Ukrainians under the care of Children of Heroes

As part of the “Boxes of Care” charity project, Biosphere Corporation and the Children of Heroes Charitable Foundation provided 3,000 children with hygiene kits.

The Children of Heroes Charitable Foundation is caring for more than 6,400 children who lost one or both parents during the full-scale invasion. The emotional and financial strain on these families is often overwhelming. That’s why the Boxes of Care project was launched in May 2023 to provide 3,000 families with essential personal hygiene products, allowing them to focus their time, money and attention on the things that matter most: spending time with their loved ones and restoring their mental health.

“For many years, Biosphere has implemented a number of projects to support children and their families. It’s important for us to take care of those who need it most and to improve the lives of Ukrainians in general. Children are the future of our country, and as a socially responsible company, it is our goal to support the youngest Ukrainians,” says Tetiana Stavytska, External Communications Manager at Biosphere.

Each box contains a variety of personal care and home care products. In particular: Smile Baby Antibacterial and Smile Baby wet wipes, wet toilet paper, tissues, cotton cosmetic pads and sticks, dishwashing sponges and a special hypoallergenic detergent for washing children’s dishes, toys, vegetables and fruits from Freken BOK Go Green.

“The youngest child of the Children of Heroes Foundation was one day old when he came under our care. His father died defending Ukraine. Now it is our turn to support his family and do everything for their happiness and well-being. For each of us, home is a place that gives us peace and quiet. That is why Biosphere boxes symbolize more than just household products. They express care and a sense of comfort, wherever our clients are now: in their own homes or in temporary shelters for displaced people,” says Antonina Golovach, Head of Non-Financial Partnerships.
