The medical program ensures that children under the Fund’s care have access to essential healthcare services. From check-ups and diagnostics to insurance and emergency support, this program safeguards children’s health and supports their physical and emotional well-being.
What does the program include?
Medical consultations
Children have access to specialist consultations, both online and offline, through a trusted network of partners. These services help prevent and address health concerns early, especially important for families who have been forced to flee their homes and start over in new cities. Regular partners include Mama’s House Polyclinic, Leleka Medical Center, Odrex, MIRUM Clinic, Sheptytsky Hospital, and Apollonia.
Medical tests
Early and regular diagnostics help identify infections, chronic illnesses, and other conditions that may affect a child’s development. Families with limited financial resources receive free access to these services thanks to our partnerships with Sinevo and Dila laboratories.
First-aid kits and vitamins
Families receive kits with essential items for treating minor injuries and common health issues. They include vitamins that help strengthen the immune system and support overall well-being. With the support of Teva and Farmak, this initiative enables families to care for their children in everyday situations.
Medical insurance
Insurance coverage opens access to a wide range of health services – from specialist appointments and diagnostic exams to medication and treatment reimbursements. Provided through our partner INGO, this support is offered to children from families who are not eligible for state assistance.
Ophthalmology
Vision care is provided monthly for children in need of glasses, lenses, or other optical supplies. With help from Luxoptica, beneficiaries receive consistent access to prescription lenses, solutions, and eye drops. It ensures proper care and the ability to fully participate in learning and daily life.
