Cargill Extends $100,000 of Support to Children of Heroes
Recently, Cargill extended its support to Children of Heroes, a Ukrainian non-profit organization that provides comprehensive assistance to Ukrainian children who lost one or both parents due to the ongoing russian Invasion of the country. Cargill’s donation of $100,000 will aid the foundation in its mission to support up to 10,000 children in 2023, providing them with the necessary resources to lead fulfilling lives despite their difficult circumstances.
Children of Heroes expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the gift and shared their plans on how the gift will be used. A significant portion, 60%, will be allocated to provide primary financial aid to the children and their families, ensuring that their basic needs are met. Another 20% will be spent on devices for remote learning, enabling the children to continue their education amidst the war. Additionally, 10% of the gift will be spent on English lessons or learning a foreign language, improving their educational opportunities and preparing them for future success. The remaining 10% will be dedicated to gifts for Children’s Protection Day, providing the children with a sense of joy and celebration.
Cargill’s donation showcases the corporation’s commitment to supporting the development of Ukraine and its people. The breakdown of how the gift will be used highlights Children of Heroes’ dedication to providing comprehensive assistance to the children and their families, giving them a brighter future – despite the ongoing war.
