Yelyzaveta’s father died in April 2022 while defending Ukraine from Russian invaders. Her family joined the Fund in December 2023.

Over time, they received different types of support, but what Yelyzaveta remembers most is a trip to Gen.Camp, a specialized camp for children affected by the war. It’s a place where they can not only rest but also receive professional psychological support. Yelyzaveta recalls the experience fondly.

“Thanks to the Fund, I got to visit a camp I had dreamed about for a long time. I had a great time, saw incredible places, made many new friends, and felt genuine support. I’m very grateful to the Fund for this opportunity and for changing people’s lives for the better,” she shares.

Yelyzaveta dreams of becoming a veterinarian and is currently pursuing her degree at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
