The Children of Heroes Charity Fund has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Ukraine Global Scholars (UGS)

The Children of Heroes Charity Fund continues to expand opportunities for the children it supports. In May 2025, the Fund officially partnered with the Ukraine Global Scholars (UGS) Foundation by signing a memorandum of cooperation.
Ukraine Global Scholars (UGS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping talented Ukrainian high school students from low-income families gain admission to top boarding schools and colleges worldwide on full scholarships. UGS also helps them find internship and job opportunities in Ukraine and launch their own projects. A crucial condition of the UGS program is that every student commits to returning to Ukraine for at least five years after graduation to contribute to its rebuilding.
The memorandum was signed during the Fund’s educational trip with its beneficiaries to the United States. This agreement solidifies both parties’ commitment to jointly facilitate access for Children of Heroes to quality education, paving the way for their self-realization and service to their country.
Thanks to UGS’s support during the educational trip, our beneficiaries also had the chance to meet students from leading American universities. They immersed themselves in the vibrant student atmosphere, toured campuses, and spoke with those who had already navigated the admission process. They gained valuable insights into the challenges Ukrainian applicants might face and received practical advice.
This partnership marks another significant step toward building a future where children who have experienced loss receive not only support but also a chance at a new life filled with purpose, goals, and hope.
