MOODua to direct 50% of profits from its new drop towards educational support for children under the Fund’s care
MOODua and Children of Heroes Charity Fund are continuing their partnership. Until the end of 2026, 50% of profits from every order from the new drop will support BACK TO SCHOOL. Together, they aim to raise UAH 250,000 for children’s education.
MOODua and Children of Heroes Charity Fund are continuing their partnership to help children who have lost one or both parents as a result of the war address learning loss. Until the end of 2026, 50% of the profit from every order placed from MOODua’s new drop will support the BACK TO SCHOOL programme.
The new collection was presented on 17 September at an event marking MOODua’s birthday. Valeria Abdal, co-founder of Children of Heroes Charity Fund, spoke to guests about the educational needs of children under the Fund’s care and the role of additional lessons in helping them close gaps in their learning.

MOODua and the Fund have set a joint goal of raising UAH 250,000 for children’s education. During the event, they also held a charity raffle for a hoodie and T-shirt from the new drop. Contributions from participants raised the first UAH 13,800 for the education programme.
About MOODua’s new drop
The MOODua team spent more than five months developing the limited-edition drop. During this time, they created original patterns, selected new fabrics, colours and details, tested different branding techniques, and assessed how the finished garments performed during production and wear.
The collection includes six designs, each reflecting one of MOODua’s values: the Responsibility warm polo shirt, the Make WOW and Curiosity T-shirts, the Weird Is Normal hoodie, the Take Risks sweatshirt and the Move Fast adaptive long-sleeved top.
The drop provides a ready-made foundation for corporate merchandise. Companies can choose one of the six designs and work with a MOODua designer to adapt it to their brand by selecting colours, the placement of branding, details and other customisation options.
Each item will come with a dedicated card explaining the partnership with Children of Heroes Charity Fund and its educational purpose. This means that the people who receive the merchandise will also understand the contribution made through their company’s order.
Why children need additional lessons
Learning loss among Ukrainian children has accumulated over several years. The COVID-19 pandemic first disrupted their regular education, followed by the full-scale war. Air-raid alerts, remote learning, power cuts, displacement and changing schools have all affected the continuity of their education.
Children who have lost one or both parents as a result of the war are also adapting to significant changes in family life. Under these circumstances, catching up on missed topics without additional support can be more difficult. Gaps in foundational knowledge gradually make new material harder to understand and affect children’s future educational opportunities.
Regular lessons with a teacher help identify the areas that require additional attention, restore missed knowledge step by step and establish a strong foundation for further learning.
How the BACK TO SCHOOL programme works
Through the BACK TO SCHOOL programme, children under the Fund’s care receive additional lessons in Ukrainian, mathematics and programming.
Ukrainian and mathematics lessons help children catch up with the school curriculum and understand the topics they will need in subsequent years. Programming allows them to develop logical thinking, work on practical tasks and explore a field that may influence their future choice of education and career.
The overall BACK TO SCHOOL fundraising target is UAH 3 million. This funding will provide several months of lessons for 992 children: 250 will attend Ukrainian lessons, 642 will study mathematics and a further 100 will learn programming.
The funds raised through the partnership with MOODua will contribute to this campaign. Once it is complete, the Fund will report the total contribution and the specific educational outcome: how many lessons were funded and how many children received support.

We thank MOODua for continuing this partnership and for choosing to direct part of the profit from its new product towards a specific educational need.
By ordering merchandise from the new drop for their teams, companies can help support the education of Children of Heroes.
