Artem
Seven-year-old Artem’s family are from Kharkiv in the east, one of the cities in Ukraine that has experienced the most destruction during the war. His father served in the special police unit and was killed when an enemy rocket hit the building he was inside of during the enemy shelling, resulting in fatal head injuries.
Along with his mother, Artem remains in Kharkiv and wishes for an end to the war that took his homeland, their city and his father from him.
