Andriy
Andriy is a lively and brilliant young boy who loves to play with his friends and color pictures in coloring books. However, in Andriy’s own words, the war “took half his heart away from him.”
His father.
Due to the constant shelling, combat and threats from the heavy artillery around them, Andriy’s mother left the capital area around Kyiv with him. Meanwhile, his father stayed back to take care of their home. On March 12th, 2022, Russian soldiers brutally tortured him, tied his hands behind his back and shot him in the yard of the family home, leaving Andriy and his mother without their beloved father and husband.

- The Fund provided the family with additional financial assistance, shoes from Intertop and household products from Biosphere
- Andriy received a snowsuit as well as birthday and New Year's gifts
