Children of Heroes Charity Fund and Mariupol State University Launch Official Partnership

In April, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund and Mariupol State University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. This document lays the groundwork for a long-term partnership aimed at supporting children who have lost one or both parents due to the war.
As part of this collaboration, children under the Fund’s care will not only have the opportunity to study but also receive essential resources for their development and recovery. Specifically, the partnership includes provisions for:
- Providing scholarships and grants for the Fund’s beneficiaries;
- Participation in university preparatory programs;
- Involvement in the university’s educational programs;
- Creation of mentorship programs involving students and alumni;
- Participation in international academic mobility programs;
- Access to online platforms for learning English;
- Participation in extracurricular activities, including psychological support programs and national-patriotic education initiatives.
The Children of Heroes Charity Fund is developing its educational focus to ensure as many children as possible have access to quality education. Thanks to the Fund’s support, over 7,000 children are studying foreign languages, preparing for the NMT (National Multisubject Test), exploring the world of programming or creative arts, working with tutors, and getting ready for school entry. All of the Fund’s educational initiatives share a single goal: to provide a child who has experienced loss with a new foundation and a chance for a successful future.
