Care That Changes Lives: The Children of Heroes Charity Fund Publishes 2024 Annual Report
The Children of Heroes Charity Fund has released its 2024 annual report, summarizing its efforts to support children who have lost one or both parents due to the war. Over the past year, the Fund raised more than $8.1 million, enabling it to provide comprehensive assistance to 11,433 children — nearly three times more than in its first year of operation.
The Fund continues to scale its efforts, as the war persists and the number of children in need of support keeps growing. In the past year alone, 4,025 new children joined the program. This means that assistance remains not just important — it is critically necessary.
Key achievements in 2024 include:
- 11,937 individual psychological counseling sessions
- 61,607 assistance requests processed
- 1,836 children provided with devices for online learning
- 418 medical insurance policies for children from the most vulnerable categories
- 1,385 first-aid kits and 6,340 vitamin packs distributed
- $69,936 in medical expenses covered through insurance programs
- 35,884 humanitarian aid packages delivered, with a total weight of over 208 tons
A notable milestone was the launch of a chatbot — a digital tool that has made communication with families faster and more convenient, while also making assistance more personalized.
