Anya
Anya’s life in the Dnipropetrovsk region in central Ukraine turned upside down on February 24th, 2022, as was the case for most Ukrainian families. Her father worked in a local factory, though he began defending his country following the beginning of the full-scale war. Two months into his military service he received severe head and arm injuries. He spent ten days in a coma and, tragically, passed away.
Anya was left without a father but holds out hope for her country’s victory.
