From conversations about communications to supporting children of Heroes: highlights from the Warsaw event
On September 30, the Employer Branding Community event in Warsaw named the Children of Heroes Fund its charity partner. All participation fees went to the Fund’s programs for Ukrainian children who lost one or both parents in the war.
On September 30, Warsaw hosted the Employer Branding Community event “People, Communication & Employer Branding in the AI Era.” The Children of Heroes Charity Fund was its charity partner: 100% of participation fees went to programs for Ukrainian children who have lost one or both parents as a result of the war.
The event brought together communications and employer brand professionals from different countries. Speakers discussed how trust and collaboration within communications teams are changing in the age of artificial intelligence.
Speakers included Jake Bustos, Monique Zytnik, Marten Neelsen (IBM iX DACH), Nathalie Kempf (Zalando), Olena Androshchuk (Henkel Ukraine), Anna Velykoivanenko (DataArt), and Iryna Franchuk (SKELAR).
A distinctive feature of the event was its charitable participation model: contributions starting at €49 went directly to the Fund. To help guests get to know each other, the organizers created the EBC Event Passport, which allowed attendees not only to network but also to compete for prizes.
The Fund was represented at the event by Yuliia Lakomska, Head of Corporate Partnerships.
“It was a pleasure to meet professionals who shared such diverse perspectives. We sincerely thank the organizers, who made this evening valuable not only professionally but also for Ukrainian children. We are also grateful to all the participants: thanks to you, attending the event became real support for children who have lost their parents because of the war,” said Yuliia Lakomska.
