Epicentr provided 507 sets of stationery to children in the care of Children of Heroes Charity Fund
Epicentr provided 507 stationery sets to children in the care of Children of Heroes Charity Fund. For the second year in a row, the company prepared sets with essential supplies for learning and creative activities ahead of the new school year.
507 children in the care of Children of Heroes Charity Fund received sets of stationery for learning and creative activities from Epicentr. For the second year in a row, the partner has put together the sets itself, providing everything children need for the new school year.
For families, this support addresses a very specific need. A quarter of the children in the Fund’s care live in families facing financial hardship. When a family budget is limited, spending on basic needs — including food, medicines, clothing and housing — can leave less money available for education-related expenses. Providing children with essential school supplies is therefore one way to support their access to education.
For Epicentr, this is a continuation of its long-standing partnership with Children of Heroes Charity Fund. The company has supported children in the Fund’s care since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, responding to a range of needs faced by families.
In 2025, Epicentr provided children with 427 sets of stationery. The initiative was made possible in part through the ‘Angels of Good Deeds’ charity campaign, supported by the retailer’s customers.
Another area of cooperation is the ‘INTERSPORT for Children of Heroes’ project. Over two years, Epicentr and INTERSPORT organised sporting events for children in different regions of Ukraine. 486 children took part in these events, and the total value of the gifts provided to them amounted to UAH 2.241 million. These sporting events give children an opportunity to spend time together actively, connect with their peers and meet Ukrainian athletes.
Long-term partnerships allow the Fund to provide support that is not limited to a single need or a single moment in a child’s life. Education and development, humanitarian aid, psychology and socialisation, and medical care complement one another depending on the needs of each child and their family.
We thank the Epicentr team for its consistent support of children who have lost one or both parents as a result of the war, and for continuing this partnership even in challenging conditions for Ukrainian businesses.
