Andrii’s family joined the Fund on July 2, 2022. This date is both special and painful for them – it is the day their father would have celebrated his birthday, a day that will never come again.

He went to the front, following the call of his heart, and came under enemy shelling. Although he was taken to the hospital, his injuries proved fatal. The life of a man who was the support and protector of his large family was cut short.

Their mother was left alone with four children – Mykhailo, Andrii, Veronika, and Rostyslav. She is raising them while also finding the strength to volunteer and continue moving forward, even in the most difficult times.

The elder boys are already Fund graduates: Mykhailo completed his studies and became a welder, while Andrii is currently in Denmark, working to build his professional future. Rostyslav has finished the 4th grade, and Veronika the 9th – both continue their schooling.

For more than three years, the Fund has supported the family in many ways: sending gifts for holidays and birthdays, providing clothing and footwear, medical kits, a generator, a computer, and health insurance. For the children, this was not only material help but also a sign of care and support.

Andrii, in particular, had the opportunity to attend a sports camp, where he made new friends and enjoyed a break from daily worries.

The family is an example of courage, love, and strength – drawn both from the memory of their father and from the support they give one another.
