The Fund took part in an international conference organized by Eurochild and the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society
Eurochild and the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society organized a joint event on July 2-3 in Malta. The conference was attended by more than 300 participants from all over Europe, including Children of Heroes Charity Fund representatives. Along with politicians and organizations involved in the protection of children’s rights, the event was attended by children aged 13 to 17, including a boy from Ukraine, Oleksandr.
Antonina Slipchenko, founder of the EDUKIDS charity fund and a member of the European network of organizations Eurochild, met with the representatives of the Children of Heroes Fund at the event:
“It was unexpected, but very pleasant to meet our partners from the Art4kids charity project, the Children of Heroes charity fund, at the Eurochild congress in Malta! We took the opportunity to exchange ideas and plan future joint initiatives. Once again, we were convinced that we are united by common values! We appreciate and enjoy our cooperation,” she said.
The conference, organized by Eurochild and the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society, was an excellent platform for sharing best practices related to the children’s rights and well-being promotion. The Children of Heroes Charity Fund representatives were happy to communicate with like-minded people, share their experience and ideas for future projects aimed at providing children with quality and effective assistance.
“To summarize these two days full of acquaintances, valuable information and new ideas, we can quote one of the speakers of the Eurochild Children’s Council: ‘Words don’t change the world — actions do’. So now we return to work and continue working towards providing opportunities to realize the potential of our wards,” emphasized Iryna-Mariia Huk, Development Partnerships Manager at Children of Heroes Charity Fund.
