The drawings of the Fund’s beneficiaries were presented in Atlanta
On September 24, an exhibition of drawings by the wards of our Foundation took place at the residence of the Consul General of the United Kingdom in Atlanta, Georgia. It was organized with the assistance of Madeleine Schachter, a member of the Board of Directors of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund in the USA.
The event brought together over 80 guests who support Ukraine and seek to help children affected by the war. The exhibition served not only as a platform for showcasing children’s creative works but also as a significant venue for exchanging ideas on further assistance for children who have lost one or both parents due to the war. Live music performed by talented Ukrainian musicians added an exceptional charm to the event.
The exhibition featured touching drawings from children, who shared their experiences, emotions, and hopes through their artwork. Each drawing told a unique story: of loss, shattered lives, and sorrow, but also unyielding faith in the future. These children have endured great trials, however, despite all the difficulties, their creativity reflects their spirit and desire for a happy and peaceful future.
As of October 1, more than 10,000 children are under the care of the Fund, and this number continues to grow. The exhibition in Atlanta was a major event in drawing global attention to our children, providing them with the necessary support and the opportunity to express their feelings through creativity.
