The Children of Heroes Charity Fund has joined the Humanitarian NGO Platform
The Children of Heroes Charity Fund has joined the Humanitarian NGO Platform in Ukraine, a coordinating body for Ukrainian and international humanitarian organizations working in Ukraine to support those affected by the war.
Established in 2023 through the initiative of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), Mercy Corps, Save the Children, and World Vision, the platform provides a space for exchanging experience, coordinating efforts, fostering partnerships, and jointly developing humanitarian solutions.
For the Fund, participation in the platform is a step towards deepening collaboration within the humanitarian sector and increasing the visibility of our beneficiaries’ challenges among partner organizations.
Membership grants the Fund access to a range of opportunities, including resources, advocacy support, grant programs, training, and joint initiatives. This will help advance our humanitarian efforts, strengthen partnerships, and improve the effectiveness of our response to the challenges faced by the more than 13,000 children under the Fund’s care.
The Fund plans to actively participate in platform activities, expand its network of collaborators, and leverage the community’s potential to enhance the protection and support of children who have lost one or both parents due to the war.
We are deeply convinced that ensuring a dignified standard of living is crucial for the future of the Fund’s beneficiaries. Access to quality education, medical, and psychological assistance is not merely a need but a right for every child. Through collaborative efforts, the Fund aims to create all conditions necessary for children to overcome the consequences of war, realize their potential, and lead fulfilling lives.
