Ridesharing Company Uklon Drops-off Joy for Children

Uklon, Ukraine’s first ridesharing service, has generously donated UAH 500,000 ($13,500 USD) to the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. Uklon made the donation to provide our children gifts for New Year’s Eve, which is an important tradition and a day to celebrate loved ones in Ukraine during the holiday season. They have also provided support for Children of Heroes’ “Light for Children” initiative, which aims to provide Ukrainian orphans with flashlights, power banks and reflective strips for theor clothing.

In addition, Uklon held the “Give kids a holiday” initiative, encouraging the kids of its drivers to write letters to the children of Ukrainian war heroes. The children wrote letters of support to the Fund’s orphans, offering words of encouragement to help them through this difficult part of their lives. These letters, and their words of support, serve as an important gesture for our children during the holiday season.

To date, the children from the Fund have received 152 handwritten letters along with their holiday gifts. We can’t wait to share their joy with you!

We are so grateful for the support. Not only will Uklon’s contribution ensure the children under care receive a gift, but they also received the gift of love and friendship from other children who wish to spread a bit of holiday cheer.

“Подаруй дітям свято” від Uklon

Перший український онлайн-сервіс виклику авто Uklon долучився до благодійного проєкту “Новорічне диво для Дітей Героїв”. Uklon переказав 500 000 гривень на закупівлю новорічних подарунків для підопічних фонду, а також приєднався до реалізації проєкту “Світло Дітям”, мета якого – забезпечити Дітей Героїв ліхтариками, павербанками та світловідбивачами на одяг.

Крім цього, в Uklon провели ініціативу “Подаруй діткам свято”, у якій залучили дітей водіїв сервісу до привітання дітей українських героїв. Їм запропонували передати побажання діткам фонду через листи підтримки та подарувати віру у диво, що так важливо зберегти навіть в найскладніших життєвих обставинах.

Усього вдалося зібрати 152 листи, які підопічні фонду отримають разом з подарунками напередодні Нового року та Різдва. Вже не дочекаємося отримати перші враження від дітей та поділитися з вами!
