The Children of Heroes Charity Fund provides comprehensive long-term support to Ukrainian children who have lost one or both parents due to the war.
Together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), we are raising funds for psychological recovery camps and online English courses. This campaign is implemented within EBRD Community Initiative.
All donations raised through this campaign will be matched euro-for-euro by the EBRD, up to €50,000 (approx. $58,000), creating a total impact of €100,000 (approx. $116,000).

Our camps help children and their guardians cope with trauma, grief and loss in a safe environment guided by professional psychologists.

is a camp for children aged 8–15

is a camp for children aged 3–7 and their caregivers

How does donation matching work?
For this campaign, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) matches every donation euro for euro. This means your contribution is doubled. For example: €20 becomes €40; €50 becomes €100; €300 becomes €600.
All donations are matched until a total of €50,000 is reached. With the EBRD’s support, this creates up to €100,000 in total funding for psychological rehabilitation camps and online English courses for children supported by the Fund.
How does the Children of Heroes Charity Fund help children?
We support every child until they turn 18 – including their 18th year – and as they take their first steps into adulthood.
Our assistance is built around seven core programs:
- Case management
- Humanitarian aid
- Education and development
- Medical care
- Psychological support and socialisation
- Holiday presents
- Family Helpers
As soon as a family joins the Fund, a dedicated Family Helper is assigned to them. From that moment, the family can take part in any program for which they qualify.
Each Family Helper works one-on-one with the family, helping assess their needs, coordinate support, and ensure the child receives consistent, personalised care.
How many children does the Children of Heroes Charity Fund support?
As of January 2026, the Fund supports more than 15,000 children across Ukraine and continues to grow as new families join daily.
Are there any fees when making a donation?
Our donation platform charges a processing fee to the Fund, not to you as a donor. When making a donation, you’ll have the option to help cover this fee so that more of your contribution goes directly to our mission.
Your bank may also set its own transactional fees, depending on your chosen payment method.
