We are delighted to announce a significant partnership with LELEKA. This platform empowers Ukrainian children to share their art with the world and raise funds for themselves, their families, and their country. Since its inception in June 2022, LELEKA has been a lifeline for children affected by the war, providing them with a creative outlet and a sense of purpose.
LELEKA is a volunteer-run, non-profit project committed to helping Ukrainian children regain a sense of safety and control through art. The platform has hosted over 12,000 artworks by over 3,500 young artists, touching hearts worldwide and garnering attention from major media outlets like the BBC, The Independent, and Voice of America.
The LELEKA community has decided to donate £22,158 to the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. These funds will be directed toward psychological support programs for children who have lost their parents due to the war in Ukraine and are under the care of our Fund.
Providing professional psychological support is critical for helping these young heroes heal from the trauma of their loss, build resilience, and find hope for the future. At Children of Heroes, we believe in creating a brighter future for Ukraine’s children. This generous donation from LELEKA will strengthen our efforts to provide life-changing care to the children who need it most.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to LELEKA and their compassionate community for standing with us in our mission. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of Ukraine’s youngest generation.
