“Feel Your Impact”: Children of Heroes Charity Fund Holds Its First Offline Meeting with Partners
On November 29, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund hosted its first offline event, Feel Your Impact. The event took place at Pechersk School International (PSI) in Kyiv, bringing together donors, benefactors, and the Fund’s beneficiaries to celebrate achievements and express gratitude to those who support children during the most challenging times of their lives.
Guests learned about the successes of the Fund’s assistance programs, including psychological support, medical and humanitarian aid, educational initiatives, and children’s camps. Over the past year, more than 10,500 children have received essential support, which provided a safety net and offered a chance for a brighter future.
A highlight of the evening was meeting the children supported by the Fund. Their achievements inspired attendees, underscoring the importance of continued support. Alexandra, a student at Pechersk School International, shared her educational journey. At the same time, Sofia, a graduate of the Fund, co-hosted the event alongside Valeria Abdal, co-founder of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. For partners, this meeting was an invaluable opportunity to connect directly with the children they are helping and to witness the profound impact of their contributions to the lives of those who have lost one or both parents due to the war.The evening culminated in a charity auction, Gift for a Gift, which raised funds to support the children.
The event also recognized organizations that made significant contributions to various areas of the Fund’s work:
- World Orphan Fund for psychological support.
- Intertop, HUCUS Foundation, INTERSPORT, and Epicenter for humanitarian aid.
- Teva for medical assistance.
- Ukraine Alive 2022, Tourist Ukrainian Family NGO, Seven Fields NGO, and PUMA for organizing camps.
