Family members of fallen defenders met with the head of Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration
A significant meeting of family members of fallen Ukrainian defenders with the Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhii Tiurin, took place in Khmelnytskyi. The event became a valuable platform for discussing problematic issues and providing the necessary support to the Heroes’ families.
The meeting was addressed by Volodymyr Yuriev, Deputy Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, and Inna Pikalo, Head of the Veterans Policy Department. They shared information about current initiatives to support the families of fallen soldiers and also heard opinions and suggestions from the participants.
Daria Hrynenko, the Fund’s family assistant, presented the results of the assistance provided to children from the Khmelnytskyi region as of September 2024. She emphasized the importance of comprehensive support for children who have lost one or both parents due to the war and spoke about the Fund’s plans for the future.
For more than 4 hours, representatives of the regional authorities, together with public and charitable organizations, including the Children of Heroes СF, openly communicated with family members of the fallen. It was an opportunity to discuss pressing issues, including social assistance, medical care, psychological support, and children’s education. Some problems were resolved immediately on the spot, while others were considered for further resolution.
The Children of Heroes Charity Fund expresses its gratitude to the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration for the fruitful cooperation and readiness to support the families of the fallen defenders. The joint efforts of government agencies and public organizations are an important step to ensure a decent future for children who have lost their dearest people.
