Embassy of Canada to Ukraine supports Children of Heroes
In September 2025, the leadership of Children of Heroes had the honor of meeting with the team of the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine and Her Excellency Natalka Cmoc, Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine.
That meeting became the starting point of an active partnership—open, sincere, and built on trust and a shared commitment to supporting children who have lost one or both parents because of the war in Ukraine.
Over the past three months, the Embassy team has supported the children in our care by fundraising through a series of networking events hosted at the Embassy. In December, the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine also made a charitable contribution of UAH 100,000, which will be directed to the needs of the Fund’s children.
For Children of Heroes, this kind of support is more than a donation—it is a partnership that helps children feel stability and see a future. Our mission is to provide long-term care to children who have lost one or both parents in the war until they turn 18.
We sincerely thank the Embassy of Canada to Ukraine and H.E. Natalka Cmoc for their trust, compassion, and meaningful action supporting Ukrainian children. Together, we can do more.
