Clothing Brand MATCH Denim Launches a Special Product Aimed at Helping the Children of Heroes
For the second year in a row, Ukraine has been celebrating International Children’s Day in the face of constant threats and at a time when martial law is in effect. During this difficult time, Ukraine’s children experience daily hardships and have become victims of the challenging circumstances they face – and they need our help and support.
Ukrainian clothing brand MATCH Denim has announced the release of a special toy dedicated to International Children’s Day, with proceeds going to Children of Heroes. The project is designed to help young Ukrainians who have lost their parents due to the war.
The toy, a soft plush bunny made from 100% cotton and in the signature denim style of the brand, is already available on the brand’s official website. Each bunny costs 550 hryvnias ($15 USD) and shipping is available worldwide (excluding russia and belarus). Profits from the charitable initiative will be donated to the Children of Heroes Charity Fund, which has more than 4,500 children under its care as of May 2023.
The children under the Fund’s care receive a wide variety of assistance, all the way up to adulthood. The Fund’s support programs are designed to improve the well-being of children who have suffered from the effects of the war.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale war, each of us have helped the soldiers who are fighting for our future. But new generations of Ukrainians will also grow up and live in this future, so we have to keep them in mind. Therefore, we hope that our contribution will benefit them,” says Iryna Nosenko, founder of MATCH Denim.
