Christmas magic with DataArt
Global software engineering company DataArt contributed UAH 1,000,000 towards gifts for the Children of Heroes. In the lead-up to the holidays, the children wrote letters to St Nicholas and shared their most heartfelt wishes. Thanks to DataArt’s support, 1,056 children received what they had truly been hoping for: roller skates, dolls, soft toys, pet food, cosmetics, clothing vouchers, and other essential items.
This winter, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund launched the campaign «Christmas magic comes in many forms» to raise funds for gifts and essential items for children who have lost one or both parents due to the war. Nearly 15,500 children are already under the Fund’s care, and winter is an especially difficult time for them. Often, a gift is not only about a toy or a building set: it is also about necessities that bring warmth and a smile. The mother of one of the children we support shared her thoughts:
«We used the voucher to buy our daughter winter trousers. Now we’ll be warm and cosy. She is truly grateful for this opportunity!»
We cannot bring back a mum or dad, but we can fill these holidays with care and the feeling that they are remembered. Childhood happens only once. Thank DataArt for joining this initiative and giving children a true Christmas miracle.
