Serhiy
Serhiy is from Novoselivka Kramatorsk region. His mother died in front of him during the occupation, as a result of russian attack. His mother was buried in the garden and Serhiy stayed with his grandmother. The shelling of Novoselivka continued and they had to hide in the cellar. There was almost no food left, but his grandmother had goats, and they managed to survive by having goat’s milk.
While they were hiding, their father, who was in another region, was looking for them. They were not able to get in touch with him for a month. Fortunately, after some time, their father managed to find them, and through the help of volunteers, Serhiy and his grandmother were evacuated to Kharkiv. The boy’s father was waiting for them there. Now, Serhiy has to get used to an entirely new life. His biggest dream is to be successful, and live in a free and peaceful Ukraine.
