Anastasiia

Anastasiia joined the Children of Heroes Fund in February 2023, after her father was killed in the war.

She says the Fund not only supported her family with practical essentials but also became a source of inspiration. One of her most vivid memories is meeting actor Artur Lohai through the Fund’s special dream-fulfilling project. That moment marked the beginning of her songwriting journey.

“My first song, I Am in Darkness (Я в темряві in Ukrainian), was born out of that inner search and support. It’s dedicated to my Hero – my dad. Later, we filmed a music video, which I’m very proud of. It’s not just music – it’s my voice, my story, my pain, and my hope,” Anastasiia shares.

She also warmly recalls Iryna, a dedicated Family Helper. “She’s always there – ready to listen, advise, and help. Her care means the world to us,” Anastasiia says.

Today, Anastasiia continues her studies and is developing as an artist. She works with sound, writes new songs, and dreams of building a future in music. Her goal is to grow as a performer, share her story, and support others who have experienced loss.
