Children of Heroes Explore Engineering with BMW
On May 19, we held the first event in our new collaboration with AVT Bavaria — the official importer of BMW in Ukraine. A fascinating workshop took place at the BMW Service Center for beneficiaries of the Children of Heroes Foundation, offering an exciting journey into the world of engineering, automotive design, and future technologies.
During the event, the children had the opportunity to see how the service center operates, tour the showroom and service area, and learn more about the design of BMW cars and motorcycles. A company trainer led an interactive session, explaining the key components of vehicle construction, how they work, and the innovations used in BMW manufacturing.
Thirteen children participated in the event, fully immersing themselves in the learning experience and drawing inspiration from the opportunities that technical education can offer.
Our partnership with AVT Bavaria goes far beyond a single event. The company has also supported our educational mission by donating €10,000 toward the development of STEM education for our beneficiaries. These funds will be used to implement a dedicated educational project we are already actively developing.
