Children of Heroes Charity Fund receives «Inspiration of the Year» award from ISAR Ednannia
On International Volunteer Day, 5 December, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund received the honorary title «Inspiration of the Year» from ISAR Ednannia. The award ceremony took place during the XIV Civil Society Forum «(vy)STOIMO» [(we)STAND] in Kyiv, one of the largest annual platforms for dialogue between civil society, the state, business, donors, and international partners.
«Inspiration of the Year» is a category that recognizes an organization that inspires by example: through the strength of its team, its humanity, its values, and its genuine belief in change. The story of such an organization shows others that it is worth taking action, growing, and not giving up even in the most difficult times. For our team, the title «Inspiration of the Year» is not only an honor, but also a responsibility: to remain a fund that others can look up to — transparent, professional, and focused on long-term change.
The award was accepted on behalf of the Fund’s team by Oksana Zhuravel, Project Manager for Government Relations at the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. In her daily work, Oksana builds partnerships with public authorities and state institutions to create, together with the Fund, a systemic support system for families who have lost their loved ones in the war.
Today, the Children of Heroes Fund supports more than 15,000 children, providing them with long-term psychological, educational, humanitarian, and social assistance. Each such recognition is, first and foremost, an acknowledgment of the strength of these children, their caregivers, and our partners and donors who help make real change happen every day.
