Children of Heroes CF Hosts Avrora Educational Camp for Teens in Yaremche
From October 10 to 17, 2025, the Avrora educational and career guidance camp took place in Yaremche for teenagers under the care of the “Children of Heroes” Charity Fund.. Over seven days, 35 participants aged 14–17 from various regions of Ukraine explored new knowledge, made connections, and overcame personal fears.
The camp successfully combined leisure and learning. Teenagers attended lectures and workshops designed to help them better understand themselves and the professional landscape. During the sessions, they discussed the importance of effective communication and using correct Ukrainian language in professional life, while also developing essential soft skills like critical thinking and time management. The days were packed with art/modeling master classes, photo contests, morning yoga, and themed parties, with evenings concluding around the warmth of a traditional Hutsul bonfire. Participants hiked the Carpathian trails, climbed Makovytsia Mountain, walked the Dovbush Trail, and visited Gnedz’o – Park of Legends.
A SAN (Well-being. Activity. Mood) survey was conducted among the participants both before and at the end of the camp. The results indicated that the children became calmer and more active, experiencing increased joy and confidence. Parents also noted that their children returned from the camp inspired and happy.
“A huge thank you for the emotions and the opportunity for our children to rest and recharge. You are doing great work! Inspiration to you all,” said Kateryna, the mother of one of the participants.
The “Children of Heroes” Charity Fund sincerely thanks the “Avrora” multimarket chain for supporting this initiative. Thanks to your help, children who have lost their loved ones not only had a chance to rest but also found new friends, felt cared for, and regained confidence in their own abilities.
