Carpathian Retreat, Psychological Support and Creativity: How Children of Heroes Spent Time at the “Svitlyachok” Camp

Thanks to the financial support of TM “Oleina” within the “Oleina — For Children. Cooking with Love” project, the beneficiaries of the Children of Heroes CF enjoyed an unforgettable retreat at the “Svitlyachok” camp in the Carpathian Mountains. For the children and their mothers, this trip provided an opportunity to be surrounded by nature, find peace, get some rest, and take essential steps on the path to emotional recovery after experiencing trauma.
The camp program was developed by qualified specialists, taking into account the needs of the participants. It included:
- Individual and group sessions with psychologists. The children learned to understand better and express their emotions, while the mothers regained strength and found inner resources.
- Creative workshops, speech therapy sessions, and activities with specialists aimed at the children’s development.
- Outdoor walks, games, excursions, and a pleasant surprise – a concert by the singer TARABAROVA.
The camp fostered an atmosphere of support, care, and trust. It was a space where every child and mother could feel safe, even for a bit, and find the strength to move forward.
As part of the “Oleina — for Children. Cooking with Love” initiative, the Fund’s beneficiaries receive not only material support but also the opportunity for emotional recovery through culinary workshops. This comprehensive assistance provides children and their guardians with a sense of care, security, and hope for the future.
