Back to School 2025: How the ‘Children of Heroes’ CF Prepared Beneficiaries for the New Academic Year
The “Back to School 2025” drive for the mentees of the “Children of Heroes” Charity Fund has been successfully completed! Thanks to the support of partners and donors, we provided 5,100 children with backpacks, stationery, and everything necessary for their studies. The sets included pencil cases, art supplies, and other essential items that helped the students start the academic year confidently and without undue difficulty. In addition to school supplies, the Fund ensured its beneficiaries had access to various educational classes and courses. In total, thanks to our partners and caring donors, we managed to raise nearly 15 million UAH.
Our partners played a crucial role in preparing the children for school: 11 companies, including Boeing Ukraine, Deloitte Ukraine, Milla Nova, Precoro, and others. The “Aurora” company made a particularly significant contribution, funding the purchase of 2,043 sets of school supplies, and the Kite brand provided 2,000 of our mentees with backpacks and stationery.
Due to the war, many children are forced to study remotely, and the lack of necessary gadgets presents a serious obstacle for many. This year, thanks to our partners, over 1,500 Fund’s beneficiaries received laptops, tablets, and other equipment for distance learning. However, over 1,000 more children still need gadgets to have equal opportunities in education and development.
Education is one of the Fund’s key areas of focus. That is why the Children of Heroes CF invests not only in school kits but also in children’s overall development. In August alone, over 9,000 beneficiaries attended classes in foreign languages, mathematics, programming, creative subjects, school readiness, and preparation for the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT).
You can join the effort and make a donation on the Fund’s website. Together, we create conditions for every child of a Hero to be able to explore new horizons and confidently move towards a better future — for themselves and for Ukraine.
