Tragically, all the children that Children of Heroes support, will have also had one or both parents cruelly killed by the russian invaders.

International Children’s Protection Day takes place on June 1st 2023, and while for many children worldwide it is a time of joy and happiness, for children in Ukraine it will serve as a stark contrast. Thousands of children’s homes have been destroyed, many have been left displaced internally and abroad; and many more will have witnessed terrible atrocities.
Tragically, all the children that Children of Heroes support, will have also had one or both parents cruelly killed by russian invaders during the ongoing war.

Forced to seek refuge in a church with other survivors, and with limited access to food and clean water, he and his family struggled to survive. In the midst of this chaos, Andriy tragically lost his father to a bombing attack while he searched for food to feed his hungry family.
Despite the hardships that he has experienced in his short life, Andriy's determination to succeed remains unbroken. With the help of a laptop provided by supporters like you, he was able to attend English classes online. This invaluable tool has opened up a world of opportunities for him. He also received a backpack filled with school supplies to help him on his educational journey.
Andriy dreams of one day having a stable home life and his top priority is his education. The laptop he received has allowed him to pursue his dreams and gives him the hope and determination he needs to achieve the brighter future that all of Ukraine’s children deserve.
