Deloitte Ukraine Allocates Over UAH 1.2 Million to Educational Programs for Children of Heroes in 2025
In 2025, Deloitte Ukraine allocated over UAH 1.2 million to support children who lost one or both parents as a result of the war. The funds were directed toward educational programs, the IT Friends camp, Christmas gifts, and additional learning activities for children supported by the Children of Heroes Charity Fund.
The support was delivered in several formats — both through company-led initiatives and through the active engagement of Deloitte Ukraine employees.
At the end of 2025, during the anniversary “Conductors of Change” Forum — Deloitte Ukraine’s largest business event — UAH 800,000 was raised together with guests and partners. These funds were allocated to organize the IT Friends educational camp for 45 children supported by the Children of Heroes Charity Fund.
In 2025, Deloitte Ukraine also continued to support the Fund’s educational programs by financing additional online tutoring sessions, helping children catch up on learning gaps and maintain consistent academic progress.
A special tradition for the team at Deloitte Ukraine has become their Christmas and New Year gift drives. Between 2023 and 2025, the company’s employees fulfilled 450 children’s wishes. During the 2025 holiday season alone, UAH 300,000 was raised to provide gifts for 200 children supported by the Fund.
In addition, in the summer of 2025, Deloitte Ukraine supported the annual Back to School campaign. As part of this initiative, over UAH 100,000 was raised and allocated to cover additional Ukrainian language classes for 65 children over three months of study.
Thanks to this support, children gained access to new knowledge and the opportunity to develop their digital skills, as well as the chance to rest and recover psychologically in a safe and supportive environment.
Anhelina, a beneficiary of the Fund, shared her impressions of the IT Friends camp through her guardian:
“I sincerely thank everyone for this wonderful camp! Angelina came back with a million new, bright, and joyful impressions — and new friends. We were so lucky that it snowed, and she had the chance to go snowboarding and tubing. She especially loved the IT classes — they were engaging and educational — and the spectacular fire show. A special heartfelt thank you to her counselor, Svitlana, for the care and support!”
Such feedback from families is direct proof that consistent, long-term support delivers real impact. Educational initiatives, camps, and additional classes not only help children catch up on what was lost, but also restore their sense of safety, self-confidence, and the ability to make plans for the future.
“We believe in the potential of the children supported by the Fund and strive to create conditions in which they can realize their potential despite difficult life circumstances. This is an investment in the future of these children and in the future of Ukraine,” — Serhii Kulyk, Managing Partner of Deloitte Ukraine and Supervisory Board Member of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund.
The Children of Heroes Charity Fund expresses its sincere gratitude to Deloitte Ukraine and the entire team for a partnership that has lasted for several years and continues to make a tangible difference in children’s lives. Investments in education and development support children not only today, but also lay the foundation for their future — despite the challenges they face growing up.
