Oleina and Children of Heroes: 2025 Partnership Highlights
Our long-term partner Oleina™ continues to provide steady, meaningful support for the Children of Heroes.
Through the «Oleina — for Children. Cooking with Love» initiative, we hosted 20 cooking workshops throughout 2025. Each session brought together small groups of 11–12 children, making it easier to connect, open up, and learn in a warm, supportive circle. These workshops are about more than cooking. They help children feel capable, confident, and supported. They also improve psycho-emotional well-being and encourage social connection.
This impact is confirmed by feedback collected by the Children of Heroes Charity Fund:
90% of children reported an improved mood
54% made new friends and felt more open
81% said they would use the new skills in everyday life
81% rated the workshop atmosphere 5 out of 5
«I learned how to clean and cook fish. I didn’t even eat it before because of the bones. And now I’m not afraid of working with dough, so I help my mom make dumplings. I really want to come to the workshop again!» says Dmytro, a Children of Heroes beneficiary.
In 2025, Oleina™ also provided charitable funding to support the Svitliachok camp. The contribution made it possible to run three camp sessions in 2025.
Svitliachok is unique because children attend together with their mothers (or legal guardians). Families move through the recovery journey side by side: through care, safe interaction, and shared experiences.
One of the camp participants shared: «Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity to attend the camp. We had an amazing time, and it was truly helpful. We’re heading home full of positive emotions, energy, and a great mood. Thank you for what you do.»
With Oleina™’s support, Svitliachok welcomed 130 children and 111 caregivers in 2025. The program included individual and group psychological sessions, art-therapy practices, and activities designed to strengthen emotional resilience. Families also joined a rich leisure program: excursions, walks, themed evenings, concerts, movie nights, partner yoga, stretching, music therapy, and more.
Ongoing monthly support
Since the start of our cooperation, Oleina™ has been providing UAH 400,000 each month in charitable support for the Fund’s programs. In 2025 alone, this amounted to UAH 4,800,000. Over the full period of partnership, this support has helped fund key areas of our work: education, psychological support, socialization, and humanitarian assistance.
We are sincerely grateful to Oleina™ for their consistent commitment and for initiatives our beneficiaries genuinely value. That is the most important measure of all!
