Plarium employees and the company raised over UAH 2.8 million to warm the children of Heroes
Plarium joined the annual charitable initiative “Warmth for Children,” implemented by the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. The company’s employees became part of a large-scale project aimed at supporting children who have lost one or both parents due to the war.
The goal of the “Warmth for Children” initiative is to provide the Fund’s beneficiaries with warm clothing and footwear, helping protect Ukrainian children from the cold during the war and a challenging winter season.
This year, Plarium employees played a key role in supporting the initiative. Thanks to their contributions alone, UAH 1,367,620 was raised. Plarium then matched this amount, doubling the total contribution to UAH 2,867,620. As a result, 478 Children of Heroes received certificates for warm essentials, which will provide important support throughout the winter.
Together with the Children of Heroes Charity Fund, Plarium created a dedicated landing page where company employees could purchase gift certificates for warm clothing and add personal messages. Once all the certificates were purchased, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund team sent them directly to the children’s guardians.
“For the third year in a row, the Plarium team has impressed us with their kindness and support. We are deeply grateful to every donor who has helped make this winter warmer for children supported by the Fund. Thank you for continuing to act systematically and for setting an example of how everyone can make a difference. While the war continues, such acts become a ray of warmth and support for these children. For those who have lost their loved ones, this is not just help — it is the feeling of being remembered and not being alone,” says Yuliia Lakomska, Corporate Fundraising Specialist at the Children of Heroes Charity Fund.
The “Warmth for Children” initiative once again shows that when businesses and people act together, support becomes real and reaches the children who truly need it. It is these shared efforts that help create a sense of care and safety for them, even in the most difficult times.
