1,550 Christmas Miracles: Uklon and dobro.ua Launch a Holiday Campaign for the Children of Heroes
During the Christmas season, every child dreams of a small miracle. For children who have lost one or both parents to the war, it’s more than just gifts — it’s the feeling of being remembered, valued, and surrounded by light.
This year, ahead of the winter holidays, Uklon together with the dobro.ua platform are launching a major Christmas fundraising campaign. Its goal is to bring warmth, care, and a sense of celebration to 1,550 children who have lost their parents because of the war.
Uklon has already allocated 1,000,000 UAH to bring Christmas and St. Nicholas Day gifts to 775 children.
Together with dobro.ua, they are launching a joint Christmas fundraiser of 2,000,000 UAH. An additional 1,000,000 UAH is planned to be raised through an open public campaign — inviting everyone to contribute and help bring the holiday spirit to another 775 children who are in urgent need of warmth and support.

A Christmas Gift from Maryna Krut and the Children of the Fund: The Premiere of “Nadiia Ye” (“There Is Hope”)
Ahead of the holidays, Maryna Krut joined the children of the Fund to perform “Nadiia Ye” — a heartfelt, uplifting song that has become a symbol of hope and support. In the children’s voices, it sounds even more powerful — a reminder that hope continues to live, even in the midst of war.
“Now, in a time of war, children need a sense of celebration more than ever — a small ray of joy that reminds them life goes on and their dreams still matter. This is especially true for nearly 15,000 children who have lost one or both parents and urgently need emotional support.
That is why we are deeply grateful to Uklon and dobro.ua for standing beside these children this Christmas — children who have endured the greatest loss of their lives.
This 2,000,000 UAH Christmas fundraiser means that 1,550 children will receive care and a moment of holiday warmth. It reminds them that kindness is still here, and that there are people willing to support them, even when the world around them feels overwhelming,” said Tetiana Novytska, CEO of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund.
14,900 Children Under the Fund’s Care: New Stories of Loss Every Day
Today, more than 14,900 children who have lost one or both parents due to the war are under the care of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. Every day, 16–17 new children join the Fund — and each story reflects a new wound, a new pain, and a new reality that young Ukrainians are forced to face far too early in life.
In moments like these, it is essential that caring adults stand beside them — especially during the winter holidays, when children long to believe that wishes and dreams can still come true.
“Creating a Christmas miracle for children affected by the war has become a cherished tradition for Uklon. This is our third year doing it, because for us it’s not a one-time initiative but a part of our mission — to support those who need it most.
We believe that Christmas magic appears wherever there is kindness. And this year, we hope to inspire other businesses and everyone who cares to create miracles together,” said Serhii Hryshkov, CEO of Uklon.
