The beneficiaries of the Children of Heroes CF attended a master class in water marbling

On October 30, a master class in water marbling using the technique of Ebru took place in Vinnytsia, aimed at supporting the psychological well-being of the Fund’s beneficiaries and their guardians. The event was held in a cozy space provided by the Veteran Hub in Vinnytsia. 

Nine children aged between 7 and 12, along with their mothers, immersed themselves in the world of unique Ebru art. This technique allows for the creation of patterns on water, which can then be transferred onto paper or fabric. It is known that painting using the Ebru technique has a meditative effect that promotes emotional recovery. 

Water marbling provided participants with a wonderful opportunity to release negative emotions, alleviate mental tension, and reduce feelings of anxiety and fear. Under the guidance of experienced masters, each participant created their unique painting, and this creative process impressed both the children and their mothers. 

The event was also attended by the Fund’s ambassador, Marina Borzhemska, who supported the families and created her own painting together with the children.

 “I was extremely pleased to attend the event organized by the Children of Heroes Charity Fund, which took place in my hometown — Vinnytsia. I got to know the children and their mothers, we chatted, shared emotions, and immersed ourselves in the incredible atmosphere of the Ebru master class — painting on water. It was an amazing experience during which we managed to let go of all everyday worries and find inner peace. I am sincerely grateful to the Fund for organizing such events that bring joy and support in these difficult times,” said Marina Borzhemska. 

Offline events are crucial as they help the families of fallen heroes cope with difficult times and find the resources to move forward. Therefore, taking advantage of the children’s autumn break, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund organized an offline master class to help its wards and their guardians distract themselves and dive into the world of creativity.
