About myself
My name is Yulia Behun, I am 37 years old, and I work as a Family Helper at the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. I have degrees in law and in economics, I am fond of psychology and have worked in civil services.
Why am I in the fund?
Since the very beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, I could not stand by idly. When I saw the opportunity to join the Foundation, I did not hesitate to join its fantastic team. Thanks to the Fund’s partners and sponsors, we have a real chance to help children. The war in Ukraine is an ongoing, ever-changing situation and it is traumatizing children. We should not forget that children are our future and, despite all the present difficulties, we need to take care of them.
How many families do you take care of?
I take care of 63 children from 42 families.
