The Fund’s beneficiaries underwent training at the Kyiv School of Economics
The Children of Heroes Charity Fund and the KSE Foundation have launched the KSE x Children of Heroes pilot program. Thanks to this program, 12 children of our Fund have acquired new knowledge and skills, and received support on their way to fulfilling dreams and realizing their plans.
The best students of the Kyiv School of Economics shared their useful knowledge of time management and financial literacy with the students. Together with the mentors, the Fund’s wards studied Ukrainian culture and traditions.
A key aspect of the training was the development of emotional intelligence. Together with their mentors, the children exchanged ideas with like-minded people, learned to find answers to existential questions, and got to know themselves better. The students were introduced to the practice of keeping a self-analysis diary, which will both identify their strengths and weaknesses, and track their progress in achieving their goals.
Besides studying, the children of the Ukrainian Heroes participated in various extracurricular activities. These included excursions, picnics, Ivana Kupala celebrations, a day at the university, and a real graduation ceremony after the studying was over.
We are pleased that thanks to the memorandum of cooperation signed between the Children of Heroes Charity Fund and the KSE Foundation, our children had the opportunity to study at the country’s leading educational institution.
