Kyiv Unbreakable Cup: Dancers United to Help Children of Heroes

In March, Kyiv hosted the traditional All-Ukrainian charity ballroom dancing competition, the Kyiv Unbreakable Cup. This event became a vivid embodiment of beauty and indomitable spirit. It brought together talented participants from across the country around an important goal: to support families who had lost loved ones due to the war.
On the dance floor, dancers of all ages and skill levels met: from young beginners to true professionals. Among them were also beneficiaries of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. Their participation symbolized resilience, faith in their strength, and the desire to live despite all the challenges. For most of them, it was not just participation in a competition, but a first step towards new dreams and self-belief.
A special place in the event’s program was occupied by a charity auction. Unique lots were auctioned, including crafts made by children whose hearts had experienced the pain of loss and t-shirts signed by famous Olympians and football players. Thanks to the sincerity and empathy of the participants, 155,000 UAH was raised, which has already been transferred to cover urgent special requests from 10 beneficiary families of the Fund. With these funds, families paid for children’s medical treatment, purchased necessary household appliances, paid for education, furnished comfortable sleeping places for children, repaired critical equipment, and paid utility debts.
The Kyiv Unbreakable Cup once again proved that sport, like human compassion, has the power to create miracles. Together, we are helping the children of heroes overcome difficulties and find new support in life.
