Children of Heroes Charity Fund and National Social Service of Ukraine Launch Official Partnership

On June 4th, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund and the National Social Service of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, marking a pivotal step towards providing more systematic, effective, and accessible support. This document lays a strong foundation for comprehensive assistance to children who have lost one or both parents due to the war in Ukraine. Currently, the Fund provides care for over 13,500 such children.
The Memorandum outlines key areas of joint work, focused on ensuring the most effective aid and protection of children’s rights. Specifically, these include:
- Systematic support for children who have lost parents as a result of the Russian armed aggression.
- Improving the legislative framework for child protection.
- Conducting joint research and monitoring of the situation.
- Collaborating within coordination councils, working groups, and forums.
- Organizing various educational and legal events for families under the Fund’s care.
- Holding round tables and strategic sessions on reforming the child protection system during wartime and the post-war period.
The Children of Heroes CF extends its sincere gratitude to Petro Dobromilsky, Head of National Social Service of Ukraine, for his openness to cooperation, trust, and strategic vision for their shared goal: creating a safe and dignified environment for the children of heroes.
Both parties have already discussed plans for the near future and are actively preparing to hold their first joint event for the families under the Fund’s care.
This collaboration is a testament to an unwavering belief in the future and a commitment to ensuring every child of a hero has a dignified life and full development.
